On March 7th, 2024, BDJA signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Kenergy. The two parties will cooperate on the research and development of the world's first high-temperature battery cell and the establishment of a joint venture battery cell factory in Saudi Arabia with a Middle Eastern investment institution. Emma Yang (CEO of BDJA), Dr. Ke Ke (Founder and Chairman of Kenergy), Mr. Zhan Rui (Partner of Beijing Dentons (Shanghai) Law Firm), Mrs. Wang Bin (GM of DAION Capital) and Mr. Yang Lei (Partner of Harvest Capital) attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

Since its establishment in 2019, BDJA has become a global leader in high-speed electric motorcycles, and has about eight years of in-depth research experience in the new energy electric vehicle market in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Based on the rider's work scene in the segmented travel market and environmental issues such as the climate, temperature and other factors in Southeast Asian countries, BDJA has become the first company in the world to clearly propose that the power batteries carried by new energy high-speed electric motorcycles exported to Southeast Asia and other countries must withstand the challenges of high temperature, high speed and long battery life. However, when looking at the products of global battery cell companies, there are only two types of products, automotive power batteries and energy storage batteries, and neither of them is the best option of power source to match the market need. After five years of brewing, BDJA officially commissioned Kenergy to customize and develop the world's first high-temperature battery cell. This will serve as the "power heart" of new energy high-speed electric motorcycle products provided by BDJA to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North African countries !

Founded in 2020, Kenergy is a manufacturer of light power lithium battery in Henan, China. Relying on Dr. Ke Ke, a national expert and his strong technical R&D team, Kenergy has received many favors and strategic investment since its foundation, such as CICC Huirong, Oriza Fund and Chilwee Group, a giant in the new energy industry.  

Before the signing ceremony, the participants had warm conversation and discussion on further deepening cooperation and exchanges and implementing the content of the agreement. During the meeting, Emma Yang welcomed the arrival of Dr. Ke Ke and his entourage, and introduced the latest development and operation of BDJA. She mentioned  that 2024 is the first year of BDJA’s IPO counseling in the United States, and it is also the same year, according to the medium and long-term business needs of the enterprise and the global industrial layout, BDJA’s battery not only demands safe, reliable & long life, but also requires fast replenishment, wide temperature range, low energy consumption, and stronger power, which will put forward higher technical requirements for battery technology innovation, especially customized research and development of high-temperature batteries. BDJA hopes that through the opportunity of the two parties to jointly establish a joint venture battery cell factory in Saudi Arabia, BDJA’s high-speed electric motorcycle products can more quickly radiate the Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, and North African markets. At present, Saudi investment institutions are very supportive of the project, and the parties will officially hold a signing ceremony at the Kingdom of Tomorrow (KOT) exhibition in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, at the end of April and early May.

Dr. Ke Ke pointed out that the Kenergy team has more than 10 years of R&D experience and mass production technology of light lithium battery products, and is interested and confident in the high-temperature battery cell, a market segment with high requirements in the field of new energy vehicles. It is hoped that the two parties will fully combine their leading advantages in their respective territory, further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and jointly promote the implementation of the world's first high-temperature battery cell project to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

In this cooperation, BDJA will also invite Dr. Ke Ke as the company's chief scientist to conduct in-depth research and development of future battery cell power products for high-speed electric motorcycles and serve other players in the same industry. This milestone event marks that the two companies will work together to promote the development and application of new energy and intelligent technologies, and inject new vitality into the transformation of the global energy structure and green development.
